COVID-19 Resources for Essential Businesses in Vernon
As the COVID-19 crisis continues to escalate, the County of Los Angeles and the State of California have announced new restrictions on public movement in an effort to stem the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health and safety of the public.
While the recent orders call for the immediate closure of many retail and commercial establishments and direct the public to remain at home, they also allow for the ongoing operation of essential businesses and functions.
The City of Vernon is committed to supporting businesses during the COVID-19 outbreak and will remain available to assist Vernon business needs. If your business is an "Essential Business" as defined by the Safer at Home Order for Control of COVID-19, issued by the County of Los Angeles on March 19, 2020 (the "Los Angeles County Order") and/or Executive Order N-33-20 issued by the Governor of California on March 19, 2020 (the "State Order"), the City of Vernon can provide a letter to help your business and its employees maintain access to essential facilities.
