Risk Management / Personnel administers the following programs:

• Employee recruitment and hiring.
• Liability claims filed against the City.
• Insurance review of contractors and vendors doing business with the City, to ensure adequate insurance coverage. General liability, auto, excess liability and workers compensation insurance are included in review to protect the City from unforeseeable liability.
• Employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement (Public Employees Retirement System), deferred compensation, and workers compensation.
