a variety of programs for the commercial and industrial community. The
following is a brief overview of some of the services provided by the
department.
Animal Control
The department contracts with SEAACA (Southeast Area Animal Control
Agency), an outside agency, to provide animal control services. In the
event that a stray animal has been contained on a private property or
a dead animal is identified at any location within the City, businesses
can call the Health Department for removal of the animal. The Health
Department also provides small animal traps for businesses attempting
to contain stray animals.

products outside the country.

to regulated facilities. Plan check services insure compliance with
the latest health codes as companies make improvements to buildings
and properties.
