
W. Michael McCormick, Councilman
Councilman McCormick, who has been a resident of the City of Vernon since 1969, was originally elected as a Vernon Councilman in March of 1974. Councilman McCormick worked in a diversity of business environments during his forty-year private sector career, including seven years at the Safeway meat processing plant in the City of Vernon. In addition to his extensive work experience, Councilman McCormick has been active in the Los Angeles Area Boy Scouts of America (BSA) organization for over 40 years.
Councilman McCormick has not only served the industrial community of Vernon as a City Councilman since 1974, but he has also represented his community by serving as a Board Member of numerous area organizations:
